Cross-border
Accounting that does not stop at the border.
If your business operates in several countries, you need someone who brings the numbers together. I work in particular with Austria plus Romania, Germany, Slovakia and Switzerland, in each case to the extent permitted.
More than 30 years in bookkeeping, financial statements and payroll, plus the consolidation of international group structures in Europe: cross-border structures are everyday work for me, not an exception.
In practice that means I keep your books, hold documents and accounts together across countries and prepare everything so the returns can be filed locally. The filing itself is handled by partners on the ground who hold the authorisation there.
Communication runs in German or English; I speak both fluently, and French at B2 level.
Countries
Where I can support you.
My home market: ongoing bookkeeping, VAT advance returns, payroll and annual accounts.
Bookkeeping and preparation of returns from Austria, filing through local partners.
Preparation and bookkeeping for Austrian-German structures within the permitted scope.
Preparation and coordination with partners in Slovakia for cross-border activity.
Bookkeeping and preparation for mandates with a Swiss connection, filing via partners.
Ask me
In plain language.
Which countries are possible?
Austria together with Romania, Germany, Slovakia and Switzerland, in each case to the extent permitted. I keep the books, prepare the returns and coordinate with partners in the respective country who handle the local filing.
Which languages do you work in?
German and English fluently, French at B2 level. I do not speak Romanian – communication runs in German or English, while local partners handle filing in the country concerned.
What does cross-border consulting cost?
Cross-border consulting is €150 per hour, consulting within Austria €120 per hour. All prices net.
I am a self-employed dancer working in several countries – does that fit?
Yes. I look after several internationally active dancers based in Austria, Romania, Germany, Switzerland and Slovakia. Changing engagements, foreign income and multiple clients are familiar territory.
Where does what you may do yourself end?
Bookkeeping, preparation and drafting of returns I do myself. Anything beyond my professional authorisation in the respective country – in particular tax advice and filing abroad – is handled by authorised partners.
Working across borders?
Tell me which countries are involved and I will outline what I can cover and where a local partner steps in.
