Orientation
Looking for tax support? Here is what you get.
Many people search for a tax adviser and actually mean: someone should keep my books properly and tell me where I stand. That is exactly what I do – as a certified accountant, with authorised partners for everything beyond that.
Myself
What I handle directly.
- Ongoing bookkeeping: cash-basis and double-entry
- Preparing and filing VAT advance returns
- Payroll, registrations and deregistrations
- Annual financial statements and annual accounts work
- Submissions to the tax office, e.g. reducing advance payments
- Submissions to the social insurance institution for the self-employed
- Start-up support and tax setup
- Finance and accounting consulting
With authorised partners
What runs as a team.
- Annual income tax return (E1 with E1a and E1b)
- Corporate tax return (K1)
- Tax advice and tax structuring in the strict sense
- Representation in tax proceedings
- Cross-border tax advice
- Legal advice through selected lawyers
As auditor and tax adviser I work with Dr Peter Feith (Epsilon Treuhand), among others. For legal questions I involve selected lawyers.
Ask me
In plain language.
Do I need a tax adviser or is an accountant enough?
For ongoing bookkeeping, VAT advance returns, payroll and annual accounts an accountant is enough. As soon as annual tax returns, tax structuring or representation in tax proceedings are involved, an authorised tax adviser joins in. With me you get both from one point of contact.
Which filings do you prepare yourself?
I prepare cash-basis records, annual financial statements and VAT advance returns. Submissions to the tax office, such as reducing advance payments, and submissions to the social insurance institution for the self-employed are possible within my authorisation. The annual income tax return (E1 with E1a and E1b) and the corporate tax return (K1) run through an authorised partner.
Do you need a power of attorney?
Yes. At the start of our work together I send you a power of attorney covering all authorisations. Only then can I file reports for you and communicate with the authorities.
How are partner fees charged?
Fees for filings explicitly included in my packages are covered by the package price. Additional tax or legal advice is charged on top, and you always receive a quotation before any work starts.
Can I switch to you in the middle of the year?
Yes. A mid-year switch needs a lead time of at least two, ideally three months, plus the final trial balance from your previous adviser as an Excel or CSV file and as a PDF.
Not sure what you need?
Describe your situation and I will tell you openly what I cover and what my partner does.
